About Bowl Golf Game

Bowl Golf was created by DeRay C, a husband, father, grandfather, retired educator, author, and sports enthusiast. DeRay's passion for sports extended well beyond his high school years, where he played varsity basketball and baseball. He continued to participate in AAU basketball long after graduating from college. Additionally, he was a member of a bowling league and began playing golf. However, after retiring, a back injury hindered his ability to engage in bowling and golfing. Despite this setback, his keen interest in both sports inspired him to conceptualize a board game that would safely and enjoyably combine bowling and golfing, making it ideal for family activities. His goal was to create a game suitable for both children and adults, which posed an exciting challenge. For children, the game needed to be safe, allow for indoor and outdoor sports play, foster creativity, promote teamwork, engage physical activity, incorporate math skills, and serve as an alternative fun activity. For adults, the game would include features like tailgating activities, creative wagering, guest entertainment, relaxation, and serve as a fantastic addition to any She Shed or Man Cave. After countless hours of effort, trials, and errors, DeRay successfully met this challenge with his innovative board game, Bowl Golf. He developed a cardboard prototype and collaborated with Lidoine C, a craftsman in the NC Mountains, to bring the game to life. Each game is handmade with high-quality materials and impeccable craftsmanship.
