About Us

Bowl Golf was created by DeRay C, husband, father, grandfather, retired educator, author, and sports

enthusiast. DeRay was active in sports well beyond his high school years where he played varsity

basketball and baseball. He continued playing AAU basketball long after graduating from college. Also,

he belonged to a bowling league team and started playing golf. After retirement, he became unable to

participate in bowling and golfing due to a back injury. He continued to have a keen interest in both

sports. That interest led his imagination to thinking about creating a board game that would

conceptually combine bowling and golfing as a safe and fun game for the entire family. His endeavor to

create a game for children and adults became an obsessive challenge. He knew that for children the

game must be: safe, indoor/outdoor play, creative, promote team concept, engage physical activity, use

of math skills, and an alternative fun activity. For Adults the game would require added features:

tailgating activity, creative wagering, guest entertainment, relaxing, and a great addition to She

Shed/Man cave. After countless time and effort, trials and errors, DeRay knew he had met the challenge

with a board game name Bowl Golf. He developed a cardboard prototype and partnered with Lidoine C,

a Craftsman in NC Mountains to build the game. Each game is handmade with high quality materials and

impeccable craftsmanship.
